Hi Roz & everyone!!!
May be a little "off" today - having my grandson's 3rd birthday party tonight at our house. My DD asked for chicken noodle casserole for dinner so will do my *******so having DQ cake for birthday cake - which I should be able to not go crazy for (I prefer white cake) Whew!
Here's my plan:
B: Jay Robb dreamsicle double scoop smoothie (I was "bad" and used Trop 50 OJ 8 oz and I think it made me feel pretty dizzy after-also had milk - 4 oz & greek yogurt 1/4 cup) anyway - protein 59, carbs 28
L: one slice low carb bread with peanut butter protein 6 - carbs 11
D: chicken casserole, veggie - maybe a couple bites DQ cake or none at all - haven't figured totals
S: some whole wheat crackers when I was feeling so dizzy and lightheaded. May be sinus too??? Haven't counted that up yet.
S: probably some cheese & ham or apple and peanut butter or almonds and FF milk
As I said, not feeling too well - don't know whether to attribute it to the smoothie or sinus as I woke up with headache, etc. I have only tried it once before in smoothie (although I think I had only used 4 oz - so maybe the 8 was too much) and didn't bother me. Lesson learned not to use at all or not a full cup!
Have a great day everyone. I'm going to try and see about getting out in sunshine and taking a little walk. Hopefully that will help! Still pretty brisk here!
I would like to know if running has helped with skin as well. I have started walk/run - but too soon to tell.

If you had RNY I'd say you were dumping but not sure about the VSG. I would think that's a lot of sugar.
Have you ever been told how many grams of Protein your body can absorb at a time? 59 sounds like a lot. I was told 35 grams for the RNY.

I wondered about the 59 of protein as well. It may be sinus as my head just feels awful. I had researched about the double scoops of protein in the past and there were different viewpoints so am not sure. No one has ever told me. I have been changing up my protein drinks so have been trying to make my smoothies with as much protein as possible to get the protein drinks out of the way. Maybe not a good idea. I am going to order the Syntax tea tomorrow - it seems like a better value than the isopure I had been drinking.
I think VSG can dump, but not typical. I have not had any problems with any food except early on with beef and noodles - will probably never have again! Got the foamies, etc. Yuk! So right now am thinking it is sinus with all the crazy weather.
Thanks again Roz!
