Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

Yesterday was a GREAT Day!!  Besides having a wonderful uplifting Church Service we had a wonderful day with our Girls and their families.  The Grandchildren were so excited and it was definitely a fun filled day for all of us with lots of giggles.  I put some pictures on my facebook if anyone wants to check out my Beautiful babies.

My youngest Baby Girl is turning 31 today.  She was a little bummed when I left for work or maybe just tired from being up most of the night with the little one.  We already celebrated her birthday last week so Cake and Easter candy are in the past.

I'm so happy for you that your Mom can still go at the age of 81.  My Mom is going to be 79 in the fall and she gave up years ago.  She did go to my sisters for Easter but it is rare we can get her out of the house.  I told my girls to not let me quit.  They need to include me until I am physically unable to do it.

Good menu!

I LOVE Sugar!   I stayed away from it for so long and I wish I wouldn't have taken that first bite!  I almost wi**** would show up on the scale, but then I worry that it wouldn't even stop me.

Good Menu!

Hi Roz & everyone! Hope it is OK that I start posting here again. I have been reviewing my numbers on myfitnesspal and wow has my carb count gone a lot higher! Am getting back in the swing now as earlier I mindlessly ate some chips (got them out of the house after that!)

Anyway - here is my menu for today:

Breakfast - Jay Robb protein smoothie - 47 gm protein, but I added Greek yogurt & milk so it was 42 in carbs too!!! Not sure if I shouldn't be having the yogurt??? Usually I use Krogers carbmaster yogurt, but today thought I would try Greek yogurt as I wanted to really up my protein since I don't have my Isopure.

Lunch - turkey meatloaf, green beans and small unsweetened applesauce - protein 18, carbs 26

Snack - Lay's potato chips!!! Ugh!!!

Dinner - not too hungry - so not sure what, if anything I will have. May just have some milk later, or mix some protein powder in with it???

So far my totals are: 995 cal 105 carb 27 fat 70 protein 8 fiber

Activity for day: 48 mins brisk walk
Thanks again Roz & everyone for all the great support and ideas!

Try using the FF greek yogurt, the carbs are much lower in that :)

Thank you - I did use the Dannon Greek vanilla, fat free, but I used a whole cup which was 29 carbs (noticed that after the fact!!!)

I will keep searching.
