Hurray, hurray.  It only gets better.

Get familiar with the thrift stores in your area.  There will be times when sizes change so quickly you won't have time to wear anything long enough to have any $$ invested in it.  You will also need a place to take all those retired clothes.  After 2 yrs of "thrifting" I have a really hard time paying for new clothes in a store.  I may continue to shop this way.

Keep  a pair of those big pants!  In a couple of months you will be amazed at the size difference.  I found my before pants this weekend! Wow!  What a difference!

It sounds like you're doing a great job learniing some good dietary skills before surgery!  It will help you later.

Good luck!

It's a great ride.  Congratulations.  It does help to break some of those habits before you have to give them all up at once.  My decision maker on when to lose the pants that were too big was when they started drooping in the seat.

Congrats! Like others have said - keep your big pants! Also, if you haven't please measure yourself.

I have followed Price's advice and gone to consignment stores, taking my old clothes and buying new. That way you get some $ for your new clothes. I don't know if I will ever buy clothes full price again. I also go to outlet stores and have saved a lot. I even have had to replace shoes!

Best of luck - you are doing great!
