Good Morning. {smiley face}
As usual, trying to cram 48 hours into 24. Woke up at 3:30 so I scrubbed the grout in the kitchen so I could reseal it tonight. Running 3 miles and then to the grocery as soon as I get home. Making dinner then sealing the grout.
My whole week looks endless except for Friday. I don't do a thing after I get home from work unless its fun.

I'm finding it so funny to see you mention the dual screen. I'm addicted to having my 2 screens. I have a long commute, but I'll still do it on weekends when I have to work rather than bringing my laptop home.
Today I took my adult nephew for outpatient surgery. He did really well, and I'm grateful for the relatively good news his surgeon gave us.

Spent half the day wrestling with the 1940 census that was released today. Grumpy mother wanted to see her name on it. I tried explaining to her that it's just pictures at this point, with bare minimal search capability - state, city, street and cross-street still ends you up with 5 files of 30 pages or so of jpg images to hand search. If you don't know exactly where somebody lived at the time, not much chance of finding them on that census until somebody(s) does the data entry. Ancestry.com has clearly spoiled me with its previous census search features.
After several hours, I finally found it. I have to admit is it pretty cool to see this document that hasn't seen the light of day for 72 years. My grandfather made $2100 in 1939 as a machinist. The public school teacher a few houses down made $2700. Those salaries were enough to own houses in a middle class neighborhood in L.A.
And I was working from home today, so my work day has pretty much just ended. Good day over all.

My 9 year old son has a buddy over to play now, his mom a good friend will be here for a short visit soon. Then we are off to the mall, so he can spend some $ buring a hole in his pocket and have a nice wander.
Than back home to begin my exam prep for taking the real estate exam. I am trying to get the exam taken, before I have surgery on Friday, so I can finally stop studying and get on with working with a friend of mine in residential prop mgmt.
