Just when I think I've made progress
I must admit, I have finally gotten tired of dealing with my picky pouch. I've had an entire week of nothing but bad stomach aches, and I'm once again at the point where I can't tolerate anything except Unjury Chicken Soup protein powder (the fact that it has no lactose or sugar alcohols, yet contains a bit of salt makes it very easy to tolerate). Even chewable vitamins are a problem again. The choices for someone who is lactose intolerant and can't take sugar alcohols or acidic flavors are mighty slim.
And before everyone jumps on my doc, my doc has checked my gall bladder, looked for a stricture, and ulcers. I'm also on very high doses of PPIs to keep the stomach acid down.
Hopefully I'll feel better next week, and will be more upbeat.

I am so sorry you are dealing with this. I was sone of the lucky ones who breezed through the recovery and I listen to you guys who have problems and feel so blessed. I had a cast iron tummy beofrre and still do. I hope you get better soon. I like the unjury chicken soup but wouldn't want to live on it.
