Anyone Know About CT Scans & MRIs?

I just got my results back from my CT scan and MRI.  There were 2 things that stood out to me.
On my CT scan there was this:

Impression: No no acute intra-cranial abnormality. Lucent focus in
the right occipital bone is most likely a venous lake. Comparison
with prior studies, if these could be made available, could prove
helpful in confirming stability.

The reason I want to know about this is because my pain is in the occipital region.

And with the MRI there is this:

FINDINGS:
Soft tissues: No edema or masses.
Bones: Normal alignment. Marrow signal appropriate for age.
Cord: No mass, signal abnormality, or syrinx.
Upper Thoracic: Normal
C1-2: Normal
C2-3: Disk desiccation. No central canal or foraminal stenosis.
C3-4: Disk desiccation. No central canal or foraminal stenosis.
C4-5: Disk desiccation. Minimal central disk protrusion partially
effacing the ventral thecal sac. No foraminal stenosis. No
significant central canal stenosis.
C5-6: Disk desiccation. Minimal disk bulge. No significant
central canal or foraminal stenosis.
C6-7: Normal
C7-T1: Normal
Additional Comments: Incidental right perineural cyst at T1-T2.

I am especially concerned about the perineural cyst at T1-T2.  From what I have read this can cause headaches.  My PCP doesn't think any of these finding can cause symptoms.  Hello?  I am having symptoms.  I have been for 2 weeks.  Is it just a coincidence that I have them?  She gave me a referral to a pain clinic.  I told her I didn't think PT was doing me any good.  I also asked her if I could see a neurologist.

Thanks for the hugs.  Gina, I will do that.  I really am having terrible luck right now.  The good thing is my insurance is great but I really am ready to feel better.  I am wondering if I somehow managed to injure myself when I was working out at the gym.  It seems a lot of it started after I used the rowing machine.

that is definitely possible like I said in the post on the other board, you have a slight herniation of your C 4-5 spine, which could be from putting too much pressure on your neck and a rowing machine could do that.  Read my other post, I went into great detail about the results, I have had tons of spine MRI's so I have gotten pretty good at reading them and what I dont understand, I look up.

I am getting my Lumbar spine results on Tuesday which from he was talking about on the phone aren't good.  All this time I thought it was my hip and it turns out it is coming fom my spine.  I just want to cut off my right leg - it hurts so bad and I have good pain meds and they dont touch the pain

Is this due to osteopenia/porosis?  I hope you feel better soon.  I have not seen the posts.

You know, I have wondered that myself.  I will ask my doctor when I see her Wednesday.

I'm having an MRI on Monday morning too.  I had a CT scan a couple of weeks ago that showed nothing.  I'm anxious to see the results from the MRI.

I have had acute back pain (across my bra strap area) since I returned home from the hospital after my surgery in September.  The pain has been continuous for 6 months now.  I've had a cortisone shot that gave me no relief.  I just want some answers and relief too.  Hope you get the same soon.
