Graduated to a sippy cup today!!

I discovered a straw won't work. But I am managing a sippy cup as of today. And my face isn't nearly as swollen as it was.

I'm also down another 2.2 lbs overnight...told dh that if I get below 120, I want a photo of the scale for posterity!

for sippy cups! Had to go buy some but since we have grandkids arriving on the scene this year, that isn't a wasted expense. Also dh is talking about going for this surgery to help his sleep apnea. However, I won't let him til I am completely healed and HE has added about 10 lbs.

Sounds like you are back to a newbee in terms of weight loss.

Glad you found something that works and you are better.

Thanks, Price. I even managed a couple of bites of jello. Gonna try scrambled eggs for dinner tonight.

I suspect now that I am managing a bit more, the weight loss will slow down.

A sippy cup! Haha. Hooray for sippy cups.

I hate straws too. All that air... plus they wrinkle up your mouth like a smoker if you use them all the time. Sippy cup all the way!!

Normally I use a sports bottle with a straw in it but that isn't working right now. I use it normally to avoid the cats knocking my drink over on the floor...this way if it gets knocked over, I have a chance to grab it before it gets out.

But yeah, sippy cups are great.

It's like toddlerhood all over again!  Now only if the boundless energy came with the zippy cup!  Glad you are doing better.

Actually my energy level is improving...wanted to sleep most of the first two days. And every time I take a pain med (every six hours), I spend about 1/2 of that asleep.

Thanks, Tonya.

Congrats!  Sippping from a cup is a great step forward.

I'm still struggling with sleep apnea, so I'm curious about how you'll heal from this surgery.

Take care
