Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

Went to Church and out to eat with DD#1 anf family.  They love to go to Eat n Park on Sundays for the breakfast buffet.  I am amazed at how many trips people make and how much food they waste.  Last week I ordered oatmeal and they didn't bring it until my family had already made 3 trips to the buffet.  Today I ordered french toast which came right away but I regreted it and felt guilty the whole time I was eating it.  Bread is not normally included in my menus.

Enjoy your Sunday!

I've been on Maintenance for 2 1/2 years and doing great!!!

I could not agree more.  When I added bad carbs to my diet at 14 months post op, my weight loss stopped - completely.  Now that I am in maintenance if I eat them, the scale rapidly goes up.

I don't have my entire meal planned for the day, but so far.

Breakfast:  EAS AdventEdge Protein shake

Snack:  Fage Yogurt

Lunch:  ????

Snack:  EAS AdvantEdge Protein shake

Dinner:  Salmon, blanched and sauteed green beans and baked sweet potatoes

Snack:  Yogurt - if I feel a little empty

Love the GS cookies as a snack.  I was a GS leader for 20 years, and both my girls got their Gold Awards.

Hi Roz,
Does the french toast bother your pouch or do you regret it because of the carbs?  I still have a hard time with a regular piece of bread.  I can handl the thin breads/tortilla wraps.  My parents were here this weekend and left this morning.  The kids and their families came yesterday and we had a great time.
I think I'm going to try and get a nap this afternoon...

I posted yesterday and OH ate my post.  Oh well.  We went to Golden Corral last night.  The amount of food folks ate was amazing to me.  I did great with steak, shrimp, 2 bites of cooked cabbage and opps, a brownie.

Today was the second day of the horse show and then we headed to Orlando.  We have a very nice condo and are suppose to be able to see the fireworks from Epcot from our balcony tonight.  We need to go to the grocery and finish unpacking.  Don't know if we will eat out or in tonight.

decaf protein coffee  35g
cheese grits
lemon tea  23g
tuna subway without bread
the rest of the sub  no bread
trail mix
????
protein shake  35

the guys are playing golf tomorrow.  I plan on walking, swimming and sitting at the pool.
