Best of luck Friday! You will do fine. Stopping caffeine was a major event for me prior to and I am glad you have done that. You are past the headache withdrawal stage.

Good luck!

Great advice so far. I cheated on my preop diet until the last 4 days but I think having already gone through the carb withdrawal was helpful. Other than that it was torture. Congratulations on making the decision for WLS. Good luck on Friday and we will scoot down.

Hi everyone! I am new to the forum and I have gotten lots of encouragement from reading everyone's posts. My gastic sleeve WLS is scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday). I am glad to know that I am not the only person struggling with the pre-op diet. My husband and I are paying out of pocket, and that has been a big motivation for trying to stick as much as I can to the diet.

I have already lost 5 lbs, but am so distracted by the constant feeling of hunger.  I feel the same as the original message... if I could eat like this, I wouldn't need WLS! I really look forward to the surgery, and reading more about everyone else's experience through the process!
