Hey, y'all. Please stop by and wish our LWs easy surgeries and quick recoveries. Swing some lizards for them and wish them good luck.

Thanks,

Okay - I have seen this expression a couple of time here and have no clue what it means!  What do y'all mean by "SWING SOME LIZARDS"?  I assume its a good thing.

lol  Yeah, it's a good thing. We try not to make this a religious board, so we say we're going to swing lizards or some variety of critter to indicate we are thinking good thoughts or sending up prayers, etc. The whole prayer thing caused a huge fight on the DS board years ago and they decided to say they would swing chickens for people instead of automatically assuming everybody prayed or wanted to be prayed for. It was a peace treaty deal at the time. Lightweights swing lizards, not chickens, it's just another domination of the same thing. :)

I'll be swinging for you.  I hope your non-WLS goes a ton better than mine (knee) but I don't envy you having your jaw wired.  that seems like a pretty extreme way to lose those last pounds

Thanks, Price...

As S L O W as these last lbs have been, wiring my jaw shut for any reason other than fixing my sleep apnea would be so far off the table. But I abhor the cpap...it's why I had the UPPP in 2002, to avoid it. Losing the last lbs will just be a nice benefit too.
