Good morning. Does anyone elses boss email you at 5AM?

And, 3 emails over the weekend...{sigh}. Looks like I have plenty of work to do now--I guess that's a good thing unless I totally screw up my assignments.

Anyway, I hope everyone had a great weekend. Looks like some of us are in for more spring storms today. Please get your to-go bags ready and packed with protein powder, vitamins, fresh water, protein bars, high protein and nutritious snacks like nuts and seeds, etc. Also, batteries and phone chargers, flashlights,... Be careful out there.

Yes!!! Mine does too!  Crazy people!
I've been traveling my butt off for work and she feels the need to interrupt the small amount of time I have at home these days.  She just got promoted and is trying to prove something to the world. 

I have office time and a trip to Chicago this week.  I gotta sneak in some grandma time somewhere.  I'm missing the babies.

My DD gets emails from her boss day/night/weekends.....he even sent out tons of emails while he was on his honeymoon.

Just work this week.

 Not at 5 am, but she calls me at 6 pm after I am clocked out and at home and on my days off; drives me crazy!

Just a regular week of work for me?

Not yet... but probably will happen.  In my previous life they were pretty good about not doing that when I was home - but if I was on the road... all bets were off.

No boss here but as the boss, I admit I am bad about sending out emails about something when I think of it.  But at least with an email, they get to chose when to read it and when to do something about it.  I don't call unless I have to know something then.  At the same time, most of my staff work 24-7 doing residential services for developmentally challenged adults so they are always on the clock.  I do respest their weekends off and try to have no contact of any kind with them then.

I have a busy week ahead.  PT on Tues and Thurs, meeting on Wed, payroll to get ready before I leave on Fri.  I don't think I have any more last minute shopping but who knows what will pop up.  Packing, cleaning the house so the house sitter can have a clean place to be.  I'd love to get my paperwork caught up and to the gym every day but it will probably be one or the other or a little of both. 

No, thank goodness, but I do get calls on all my days off to see if I want to work extra, because of the nursing shortage we are in. Sometimes the staffing office is calling me at night before I am home from a long shift.

Thunderstorms all evening and most of the night. Seeing sunshine this morning. I do need to get a to-go bag going. The weather sure has been crazy!

The boys have a day off from school today, so I am hoping to do get out and do something fun, but its all about the peer group now.

Going to start spring cleaning, need to start getting rid of 18 years of clutter! Its making me crazy!

I am central time and my boss is eastern but he is also one of those that tends to send emails over the weekend too.

Pretty routine week with the exception of a few extra doctor appointments for my dad and a niece being home for spring break will increase the social calendar  bit.

Nope - but she does at 1 am! However, I don't mind because I know she's a poor sleeper, and emails when she thinks of something. She has no problem with my not responding until I'm supposed to be at work, unless I too am having difficulty sleeping!

I'm waiting on a meeting that should be interesting tomorrow - it turns out the parent may have accused me of violating confidentiality laws, and the principla hasn't told me of this but has told a couple other people at school who warned me.

If it comes up at the meeting, I'm transferring next year, and my boss agrees. There will also be a union grievance filed.

Other than that, it should be a peaceful week here, no storms coming, warm weather.

edited to add - I don't see how I could have violated those laws... what was supposedly sent home isn't anything I'd have access to, so it doesn't make sense.

Actually, if the principal is telling others, is he/she guilty?? Whatever happened to "need to know"
