Best problem I've had in a while
We got our our flights to Dubai on Hotwire for $1302. No joke! Since my DHs company is putting us up for a week and paying for most meals, that leaves me more $$ to spend shopping! It's a dream come true! LOL! Plus, my DSD is getting married on a cruise in December so I will be cruising for the first time this year too! We are doing the exotic Eastern Carribean on Carnival. She is getting married in the Dominican Republic.
Tonya isn't it fun getting new sizes and clothes?
I shop in consignment shops quite a bit and factory outlet stores. I take my old clothes to the consignment shop and sometimes it is like shopping for free! I also think by getting rid of my larger sizes I won't be able to easily have my "fat" clothes to fall back on. I have kept a couple of pants to remind me of how far I have come.

Wow Tonya, isn't it funto have this kind of problem. You have gotten some really good advice. The consignment stores got to know me while I was losing. I came in and sold back things I had gotten there just a few weeks earlier.
I agree that not keeping larger sizes around is a good idea. That way if any clothes start to get tight you can't just grab the bigger ones. Wearing scrubs almost everyday is what got me in trouble.
Do pick one of your big pair of pants to keep to remember what size you were. I made that mistake. I got rid of everything and don't have something to demonstrate how much smaller I am.
It has been somewhat challenging to branch out and choose closer fitting and more stylish things asmy size went down.

I got such a kick out of you typing "****tail"! It's not a dirty word! Long ago when mixed drinks first came into fashion, a stirrer stick would be put in the glass. The end of the stick was decorated with the tailfeathers of a rooster. That's the reason it's called that. It's not a dirty word.
I love your problem too. Congrats on the 49+ lb loss! xo GG

Goddessgirl, I'm in vacation withdrawal too! LOL Was the Oasis everything it was cracked up to be? I've been on Royal Caribbean once and didn't enjoy it as much as Princess. I usually end up cruising NCL because of their itineraries (they always beat out the others on itineraries although their service and entertainment is not quite as good as the others).
Tonya499, I haven't been to Dubai. Everytime I wanted to go I was talked out of it by my husband. He had spent a few years in Saudi Arabia and is turned off by middle easterners now. Personally I've had the opposite experience as my best trips ever were to Morocco and Egypt. My friends who went there said it was like "little India" - which didn't interest me that much. Please let me know how you like it when you get back!
