I'm back from the hospital....
I had the 3rd dilation to fix the stricture this AM. It had closed back to 8 mm, they were able to dilate it to 14 mm this time. I am a lot more sore this time than the others :( They said I will probably have to have it done a couple of more times, they want it to be 25 mm. This is really getting old, I just wanna be able to eat and not throw up !

No, my surgeon sent me to a GI specialist.
No, I have been throwing up since surgery in November, they have just not been able to get it big enough. The nausea/vomiting does get a little better right after I have it done, but by the end of the month it is bad again. The GI doc doesn't like to dilate it more than once/month because he is afraid he will perforate it :(

Glad you are back home and doing better. I am so sorry you have had to do this, esp. over and over. Maybe this time it will at least hold instead of tightening up.
I understand the whole bad healing stuff. That is what my knee has been doing. Maybe we will heal better together.
