Good morning!  I think the fact that I'm on here tells you I'm feeling better.  It has been a rough few days for sure.  I'm sure I'm feeling very normal, lots of gas pain, nausea, and very tired and weak.  I have been sipping and walking and napping.   I have tried drinking everything and Gatorade seems to taste and feel the best.  DH has been amazing, I'm sure he is ready for me to feel better too. I'll update more later.  I have luckily not had the "what have I done" stage, just really want to feel better.

yeah, the first days are no fun for anyone, no matter what kind of surgery.  But it does get better pretty quickly.  Expect no energy for a while, let yourself rest, keep sipping.  It gets better.  Are you home yet?  That will help too.

Thanks everyone!  It has been rough for sure.  I'm staying focused and keeping my eye on the prize.  I think this part of the journey must really test your strength.

Glad things are going normally for you. Don't push yourself too hard and remember that fluid is the number one thing with protein a close second. It is all worth it in the end.

Even when you start feeling better take it easy!  Don't rush anything!!!

I'm glad you haven't went through the "what have I done" stage (and I hope you don't).  I went through that the week after WLS which totally surprised me and my Surgeon.  I didn't have a single doubt  or fear before hand.

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

Glad you are feeling better. I remember having little medicine cups by me with the timer on my phone going off every 10-15 minutes to drink. It does get better.

Remember like others said, don't rush, rest and let yourself heal.
