Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

Didn't we just have an Over the Hump Day? Time goes way to fast!

Can you believe this...my manager brought in her crock pot today and she is cooking BQ chicken for her families dinner tonight. It not only is smelling up the whole office but it is making everyone hungry.

I've been on Maintenance 2 1/2 years and doing great!!!

I never thought about bringing my supper to work and cooking it.  That's kind of cruel, I think unless she is offering everyone some of it!!

Everyones been "teasing" her so I'm not sure she will do it again.  I worry about warming my soup up in the microwave sometimes because it makes the office smell.  Most of the women bring salads for lunch.

We have a kitchen and the only thing that bothers me sometimes is something fishy smelling.  Our offices are not right next to the kitchen so we don't get all the smells. 
Sometimes they will heat something that I'll have to walk down there and see what I smell!!

How odd!!! A crock pot surely could have done it's thing at home instead of at work.

It's a beautiful day here and I have been in appts and doing paperwork. Oh well. I think I am going to start doing the evening horse chores this week and maybe the morning ones next week. Morning is more involved and requires moving the horses around. I want to be driving Poppy when I get home from Fla. Chili goes to the trainer this weekend so he can get started again and hopefully we can compete in a local show in May, woohoo.

I guess they were going to eat at her brothers and she didn't want to make a trip home.

I kind of see her point if she was going to be away from home for a long time. I don't think she should have done that but I know why. I "roasted" a chicken in the crock pot yesterday but I was away from home for over 13 hours. When I tried to eat it last night it was as dry as a popcorn fart! I had to make gravy and turn it into chicken pot pie for my DH. I won't do that again but I wouldn't dream of smelling up the workplace with my families dinner.

I use my crockpot a lot.  I usually cook things all night and then either put it on AUTO or in the fridge until I get home.  When I made Ham/Bean soup recently I heard DH up during the night checking on it....yeah right...LOL   It smelled so good!
