Good Morning. Is it too early for a nap?

Ugh! This daylight savings time is kicking my butt this morning. I definitely feel a power nap coming at lunchtime today.

I don't know about you guys but my weekend was way too busy and way too short. I did get the first reading assignment and exam done on the six sigma green belt course I signed up for. {sigh} Lots and lots of words about stuff I really don't care much about but the customer and our program manager wants us all to have it. Got to stay marketable, ya know?

I can not imagine pushing myself like this without having my labs in order. My iron, B12 and D3 are at the top of the ranges, or over. Yeah, this is a public service announcement to tweak your vitamins according to your labs and get those levels up, up, up. You have a new lease on life, make the most of it. Don't skimp on your vitamins and protein. Keep yourself at the top of your game. You're a LW and you rock!

Have a great Monday!

I am smiling because I got up a little early so I could get 2 protein coffees and maybe some scrambled eggs in before work.  Today I have to run the new PET machine I was telling y'all about last week all by myself! I have a tough patient first thing.  I have done this procedure before but it was several years ago on a different machine.  Plus the protocol has changed a little since my training in January.  I'm sure it will go fine.  There will be plenty of people around to help when I need it.  However, I am a little nervous.  Wish me luck!

My weekend was busy too but good.  The competition went well and no horses or participants were injured, not even any really bad crashes.  The guys yesterday actually had much better rides than the ladies on Sat, which is not common according to the folks in the know.  We only had one lady and one man who made it into the top 36 and they were not high in the placing.

My knee held up surprising well.  I had some walking and a lot of sitting and it was sore but didn't blow up like a balloon.  The CPM machine goes back this week and my PT is on vacation so I will be seeing someone knew.  I have meetings back to back today, PCP on Wed who hopefully will review my labs.  Busy week, I feel like I am getting back in the game.  Now I just need to get back to my ponies.

Good morning Gina!  Yes, a nap definite is in order.  I was reading a book last night and was surprised when I looked at the clock and it was 11pm... Of course the time change probably didn't help, and I usually go to bed at 10...

Busy weekend - pretty much have everything I brought with me unpacked and put away.  I have this unbelieveable, awesome closet and I was able to hang EVERYTHING up and still have room!  Ummm... no - can't make that a good reason to go buy more - lol.  Walmart got me for about $600 for "stuff" I didn't have and needed, and some groceries.

LSS - ugh.  I went through that training and I still don't understand a lot of the jargon.  I don't advertise it (unless on a resume) and I sure hope no one comes to me and wants me to do some project...  Getting my PMP will keep me busy for quite awhile I'm sure.

I'm back on track for my vits and protein.  I've definitely let it slide in the past few months and can feel it.  I've got a cupboard/shelf dedicated to just vits - and one in the pantry to just protein.  Think I have a pretty nifty setup for it.

Remember when I was having the irritable pouch issues?  My PCP wanted me to NOT take my vitamins for a few weeks to see how that went.  Of course I gave him the "I don't think so" look.  He said "ok - just the multi and see how you feel"... well... since I've been pretty bad with my vits and protein, my pouch has been a LOT better.  I DO think it was my multi.  I've taken it here and there over the past few weeks and can feel some of the irritation back.  So - I'm cutting out the multi - for now - and taking all my other supplements.  I want to order some BA multis to see if that helps.  I was taking Centrum Silver before.  I haven't even been taking my Prevacid and have been feeling ok.... I'm going to be watching closely to how I feel as I bring my vits back on and see if maybe there's another one that isn't agreeing with me too.

Jody,
I was reading about your vitamin/stomach issues and I wanted to let you know I changed mine around some and it really helped.  I take my Omperzale(sp) first thing when I wake up on an empty stomach with a sip of water, then I wait about 45 minutes to 1 hour and take my other morning vitamins, except iron, I take it 1 hour after my other vitamins and 1 hour away from my calcium.  I can really tell a difference in how my pouch feels since separating the stomach medicine from everything else and getting it in first.
Don't know if that would help you are not - just wanted to throw it out there.

Hi Gina,
I was late for work this morning - could not get out of the bed.  It didn't help that I stayed up until after 11pm watching TV shows I had recorded.

I am so sore from doing the 5K Saturday night.  Today is worse than yesterday.  I know I should get out and walk today, but I can hardly hold my head up.  Weekends are just too fast.

I am ready for Friday when we leave for our trip.  I need a break from everything for a while.  I sent you a PM about our change in plans.    I would hate to think I had to take a class right now.  I'm not sure my brain could comprehend anything very complicated!!

Hope everyone has a great day today.

I was thinking maybe Jody and I could meet you in Fredericksburg on Saturday for lunch. If you can't get your DH to bring you up, maybe we can go down to Mechanicsville.

He doesn't mind bringing me.  He just won't turn me loose up there in his truck!!
That would be great.  Just let me know what time and where and we will be there.
I'm really looking forward to it.
