Hello and Welcome to the LW Board.

I too have a Sleeve and I'm one that has never lost my hunger.  I took Protonix 2x a day for the first two years.   My hunger came back at 10 days post op.  It did get much better when I got to the solid food stage but I was always hungry before it was time for the next meal.  I kept my carbs very low and that helped because I wasn't getting the carb cravings.  Some people are luckier than others in losing the hunger signals.  I think a lot depends on how our sleeve was created.  Some are smaller and perhaps have more of the ghrelin producing part removed?  I don't know, but I do know that the hunger is manageable.

It takes so much less to satisfy us than it did pre-op.  I think it's just about learning to get in that dense protein first so that the pyloric valve slams shut and keeps us full longer.  If we add fluids or slider foods to the dense protein, the pyloric valve doesn't stay shut as long.  We need to keep that as a goal.

I don't drink water until 45-60 minutes after eating to keep the food from washing out of my stomach.  My plan doesn't think 30 minutes is long enough to wait.  You might want to experiment.
