Just got home from hospital...need some encouragement!!
I'm sorry you had to go through with that. I live every day with the knowledge that something like that could happen to me. Every unusual pain I worry about and evaluate whether or not I need to be seen.
I have also had two additional surgeries since my revision due to an incisional hernia. I don't like it but I knew what I was getting into.

Thanks LadyTazz for your reply...It is imperative we listen to our bodies...I will reinforce that for sure...we are our best advocates!! Now I have concerns about other problems down the road..I have to not let this scare me. I hope you have recovered from your hernai surgery...this one sounded a bit rough on you....the good thing is each day will get better...and Im hanging onto that thought...
(((hugs))) Oh, I hope you're feeling better today. That is such a scary thing to go through. I'm glad they were able to spot the issue on the CT scan and get you sorted out as quickly as they did.

Hello! I am new to this forum but wanted to tell you that I hope you are feeling better and encourage you to stay positive. I feel bad you have been through so much lately. I am glad your doc was able to locate the source of your problem and probably saved your life!!
110 pounds is AMAZING and you should be so proud!!! I am not familiar with DS so I don't know if the surgery you had reversed your WLS but even if it did, stay positive and remember that YOU lost the weight and your surgery was just a tool to help you get there.

Hi Stacy....Thanks for your kind message...No I am still a DSer...Dr. just corrected the problem. I am lucky I went into emergency when I did...I am proud I have come so far in a year...and once Im better I will be back to my daily routine that I am missing so much right now...welcome to the forum too!!!
Im glad they got it sorted out for you right away in the ER. I was rushed into emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction which turned into a rupture during the surgery on 2/16. I had been dealing with my surgeon and the ER with pain for a month, and they kept saying it was my gall bladder. Unfortunately I had some complications with the surgery and had to have a second surgery which has knocked me on my butt. Have you had a complete loss of appetite since your surgery? I cant seem to eat without getting sick, so getting my nutrients have been really hard. Ive been down in the dumps since it has happened too, and wish I could get out of this funk.
I hope you have a quick and easy recovery, and are up and rocking in no time.
Aimee
