Menus and Miles Friday March 2nd
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!!
It's Friday!! I'm looking forward to the weekend!
I got steak stuck again last night. Steak is about the only thing I have a major problem with no matter how tender it seems. I chewed up some of those little pink pills (can't remember the name) but it didn't help (at least not right away). Finally around midnight I went to bed hoping it would be gone by morning. Fortunately when I awoke around 3 it was gone.
Update on my no carb/sweet snacks: I can't believe how less hungry I am! I am not waiting for the next snack! My tummy isn't bloated and my pants are looser! It was easy to pass on the fries DH offered to me, haven't had a single pretzel or chip, not even tempted to have a graham cracker at work and I haven't been searching the cupboards for something sweet!
I've been on Maintenance 2 1/2 years and doing great!!!

TGIF!!! I am so ready for this weekend. I plan on doing some walking/jogging and resting. I need to clean house but I'm not sure that is going to get done. I am also planning a cooking day tomorrow.
That is amazing about the carbs. I loved the High Fiber Low Carb Wraps but last time I went to buy more Walmart did not have them. I got some of the Flat Bread Wraps, but don't like them as much - they are a little thicker.

Planning a cooking day...LOL That's something I don't think you would ever find on my weekend agenda of to dos. Cooking leads to cleaning the kitchen and doing dishes..something I hate to do.
I rarely have wraps or bread. They always look so good but I just can't bring myself to eat them. I am so terrified of carbs like that.
Good Menu!

The high fiber/low carb wraps don't bother me as much as the regular bread does. They don't seem to make me crave more for some reason. It is not like chips to me-LOL!!

DD is coming home this weekend for a visit. She hasn't been home in a year but I went to see her last August. Of course, we are suppose to have a cold and wet weekend which is what she is trying to get away from coming from OH. Oh well, it will be good to have her home for a little while.

I'm glad your DR. sees some improvements. Hopefully that will continue!
I hated it when my DD lived in other states. Now I have them all within 10 minutes of me.
