Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!!

It's Friday!!  I'm looking forward to the weekend!

I got steak stuck again last night.  Steak is about the only thing I have a major problem with no matter how tender it seems. I chewed up some of those little pink pills (can't remember the name) but it didn't help (at least not right away).  Finally around midnight I went to bed hoping it would be gone by morning.  Fortunately when I awoke around 3 it was gone.

Update on my no carb/sweet snacks:  I can't believe how less hungry I am!  I am not waiting for the next snack!  My tummy isn't bloated and my pants are looser!   It was easy to pass on the fries  DH offered to me, haven't had a single pretzel or chip,  not even tempted to have a graham cracker at work and I haven't been searching the cupboards for something sweet!

I've been on Maintenance 2 1/2 years and doing great!!!

Hi Roz,
TGIF!!!  I am so ready for this weekend.  I plan on doing some walking/jogging and resting.  I need to clean house but I'm not sure that is going to get done.  I am also planning a cooking day tomorrow.

That is amazing about the carbs. I loved the High Fiber Low Carb Wraps but last time I went to buy more Walmart did not have them.  I got some of the Flat Bread Wraps, but don't like them as much - they are a little thicker.

B:  Protein Decaf Coffee
S:  Decaf Coffee
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
L:  1/2 Flat Bread Wrap w/ steak, cheese, lite mayo & mustard
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
D:  Steak, Salad w/ Lite Rasp. Vineg Dressing.
S:  Sugar Free Jello Pudding w/ Fat Free Whip Topping
S:  Decaf Coffee

Vitamins:  Done
Water/Fluids:  105 ozs

You had such a busy weekend last week you are probably looking forward to a "you" weekend.

Planning a cooking day...LOL  That's something I don't think you would ever find on my weekend agenda of to dos.  Cooking leads to cleaning the kitchen and doing dishes..something I hate to do.

I rarely have wraps or bread.  They always look so good but I just can't bring myself to eat them.  I am so terrified of carbs like that.

Good Menu!

I am looking forward to a quite weekend!!  DD called and wanted us to watch DGD#2 tonight for a little while so they can run to the hospital to see a friend whose mother is in bad shape.  I told her I would for a little while.

The high fiber/low carb wraps don't bother me as much as the regular bread does.  They don't seem to make me crave more for some reason.  It is not like chips to me-LOL!!

We had sandwiches one night last week and I ended up using the lettuce as the wrap so avoid the bread.  I am just so afraid of bread and fries creeping back into my menus.  I can't figure how I could have let crackers, pretzels, and chips creep back in.  I started with a few and when the scales didn't move I ate a few more.  I was so mad at myself.

Dr appt this afternoon after the pool.  He was ok with my progress and I don't have to go back for a month.  He gave me exercises for my hip which has bursitus from all the knee stuff.  I am done with my 2 weeks on the CPM machine which is good and bad. Good that I don't have to be locked in for 6 hrs a day, bad because now I have to make myself do all the exercise that hurt to keep making progress or keep the progress I have made.

DD is coming home this weekend for a visit.  She hasn't been home in a year but I went to see her last August.  Of course, we are suppose to have a cold and wet weekend which is what she is trying to get away from coming from OH.  Oh well, it will be good to have her home for a little while.

Decaf protein coffee  35g
egg, spinach, cheese, tomato
lemon tea  23g
pulled pork, slaw
edemame
hamburger patty, cooked apples
protein shake  35g

I'm glad you are getting something exciting to look forward too!!!   I don't think you have been doing much smiling lately.

I'm glad your DR. sees some improvements.  Hopefully that will continue!

I hated it when my DD lived in other states.  Now I have them all within 10 minutes of me.

Good Menu!
