 The wedding is on a cruise to the Dominican Republic in December.  I hope to be at goal or very close!  It will be 11 months post surgery.  I will be pushing up the girls, wearing spanx  and whatever else I need!  Thanks for the encourement.

The turkey neck didn't last long on me, and people often say I look younger now that I have lost weight.
Funny thing, a young girl here in Nicaragua thought my 19 year old son was my husband.  Yeah, I would never tell him that! YUCK!
In Canada one can qualify for their stomach to be fixed if there is enough of an apron, but just the basics, and I guess a breast reduction, but I don't know what that entails. For me the worst thing is my bat wings and I might have to get a job to get that done since my husband retired. I have often gone to work just to get other things, new floor, trips, stuff like that. We get by otherwise and I am so involved in my community and family I don't have time to work full time. I feel blessed to pick when I want to work.

 How are the English classes going?  My peeps saw 1300 patients in 5 villages this year!  I was so bummed I couldn't make it.  Hope all is well!  Guess we can't drink Rojitas ever again, huh?  That's too bad I love that soda!!

We are working quite a lot. Six days a week but we are going to change that because we are not getting any free time and all work and no play makes for a very unhappy Mother and Son.
My son is drinking the rojitas, I have not. I have had the odd Tona and the odd diet coke and Ron de Cana just because some nights you need it

I've lost 6 pounds this month, which I had not lost for a long time so I am happy. I had bought a pair of board shorts for the beach and they were tight when I left but fit well now. So I am happy not to show my wrinkly legs too much when at the beach. If I ever get there to swim of course.

Hopefully you'll get down here soon again. And hopefully you'll be like me and  have no problems with the food while here. I make my own breakfast and supper, but the lunches are made by the ladies at the office and they are used to me taking a small portion of the food now. Good thing I have no problems with rice.
