Yikes, the wrinkles are coming...

Earlier this wee****lebrated the loss of my extra chin.  Yesterday, I was out and about and looked in my visor mirror and saw wrinkles!  Real ones!  Yikes.  As my face deflates I know I am going to notice the laugh lines and such more.  But wow it really bothered me.  I was surprised by this.  I thought I had prepared myself for it.  Besides, I am a tomboy not a girly girl.  I rarely even wear make up.  I am very lazy about skin care.  However, I have an urgent email in to my Mary Kay lady to start a good moisturizing program.  I also plan on getting a facial monthly. I know it won't fix sagging skin, but it may improve the appearance of it a little bit.  What do you do fight wrinkles and lines?

Yep, I use a good daily moisterizing program. The first and into the second year is the worst. After that the turkey neck and some of the lines go away.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for fat redistribution. I always thought I looked my age. Now I think I look older. Damn wrinkles. Gina's given me some hope.

My skin care is very basic.  I wash with dove when I am in the shower, use eye cream and a SPF 30 at least daily moisturizer and sometimes a night cream.  No makeup.  I gave myself permission at 50 to no longer wear makeup.  I can tell a difference even now in the surface wrinkles.  My skin doesn't look as bad as it did when I was rapidly losing.

There was something on TV, the Revolution, yesterday about a product that supposedly really works but I had a phone call in the middle and didn't catch what it was.  I bet they have it on their website.

Got my eyebrows done last week and mentioned I would like to talk DH into getting me a gift cert for a facial. I received samples for hydro peptide product line. Fabulous eye cream and cleanser. I'm sure it's expensive. . I think I'm going to do facials periodically. Good luck! Now off to research turkey neck cream or stapler LOL!!!!!

I know what you mean.  I was surprised by how much my flapping upper arms bothered me and my face definitely showe more wrinkles.
Having said that, I still wear sleeveless clothes and my face does seem to be filling out some.  The melted candle look of my stomach doesn't bother me at all but the face did.  I'd still rather have wrinkles than fat!
Lately I've been really good about using Loreal Youth Code for daytime and Loreal Regenerist for night.

I'm so sorry babygirl.  You have age on your side so things will probably tighten up for you as things redistribute later on.  The best thing you can put on your face is a big smile!

Start saving now so that you can have a facelift when you get old like me!  :)

Lol!  You look great, BTW!  We have decided to save all the money we don't spend eating out and saving on groceries for my plastics fund.  I already had $1000, but my daughter is getting married and it got reallocated!  Believe me, I am all about the plastics when my weight is stable and at goal!  That should tell you how often we ate out too.  Kind of explains why I needed a RNY!

LOL!!!  Yes keep saving the money.  Dr. Sauceda is the best deal on the planet and does exceptional work.  Big congrats on your daughter's upcoming wedding.  You're going to look great!  Aren't you glad you had the RNY before those wedding pics?  :)
