Two weeks to go...Yikes!

Good morning everyone!  I can't believe two weeks from today I will have a new tummy.  I'm sure all the crazy thoughts and feelings are very normal so I won't even bother you all with what is running through my mind.  I would like to tell everyone that is waiting on a date or you are still a few months off - it will come.  I have had my date since November and I really thought it would never get here.  I stayed busy and tried not to obsess over the entire process.  I made friendships on this forum, started new eating habits, enjoyed food without guilt and now I am ready for the next step. 

Well I'm sure I will write another novel next Monday when I only have 1 week left - wow that sounds crazy.

When I look back for to my 6 month pre surgery time I remember how hard it was but now I'm so thankful that during that time I found my LW's who aided me in preparing for the most exciting roller coaster ride I have ever been on!  I can't wait to enjoy this ride with you!!!

Thanks Roz....I can't wait either!  I am so thankful I have LW to go through this journey with me.

These 2 weeks will fly, faster than going past the barrels, it will seem.  Cook for the family and get stuff in the freezer (and no more for the dane, he had his share).  Get your protein samples ordered from Vitalady or whoever.  Try some herb teas, warm is frequently better than cold early out.  Cut carbs and caffeine now so you don't have to later.  You will be ready.

 Thank you Meg, I am very ready!  Hi Price, thank you so much.  I am very excited and preparing for the next few weeks.  Sophie is doing good since her last steak.  I will stay in touch and try not to bug y'all too much.  Thanks for all the support!

Hi Stephanie...I'm just outside of Waco!  I actually ran barrels at a rodeo in Mount B. before, or at least pretty close to it.

Wow - congratulations on your weight loss...thats awesome.  I'm actually down to 195 right now, I think the nerves has my tummy a little uneasy.  I read all the time about people losing weight before their surgery, but my doctor has asked that I not lose any so that I can still have the surgery.  Such a funny thing for me to hear - my whole life I have not been able to lose weight and now 2 weeks before my surgery I'm worried I will lose too much.  Murphy's law I guess.
