I don't get food porn. I didn't get it before surgery and I still don't get it, but clearly they're VERY popular or there wouldn't be so many cooking shows on.

I got a bit irritated with the recent controversy over Paula Deen and her weight/diabetes and high fat southern cooking and forced myself to watch one of her shows. (Didn't like her.) I find it to be a bit of a double standard that she gets blasted about being fat and making dishes that America thinks make you fat, but the Cake Boss guy, who isn't exactly cooking health food, and who is equally overweight, gets no flack at all. I guess she should have kept her mouth shut about the diabetes.

I do confess to liking Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. Slightly embarrassed by that - not sure why.

Generally if I have the TV on at all, it's the military channel if they've got any documentaries on WWI or WWII. If not then it's Investigation Discovery, Nat Geo, etc.

I'm pretty boring when it comes to tv. :)

I used to really enjoy watching Food Channel presurgery and LOVED triple D. Can'****ch it now....do not even enjoy reading my cooking light anymore. I do enjoy reading low carb recipes though! I enjoy cooking but do not enjoy watching food that I do not eat. Interesting though how it doesn't bother many of you.

Nope.

The only things I watch now that I didn't before are things like Big Medicine and My 600 lb Journey.
