Did you have the Venus procdure for venous reflux? I had that procedure done on both legs in Nov and dec last year. I had a honking big, ropelike vein in my r leg and smaller one in the left.

Staying stable...good.

I think that is the name for the procedure he is doing...all I know is one leg isn't QUITE as bad as the other but both had huge "ropes" up and down esp the back of my legs.

thats the way mine were but mine were on the inside aspect of my legs, right worse than left.

Procedure doesn't hurt and they offered a rx for Valium before the procedure but I declined it on the first leg,but even though it didn't "hurt" per se,there was some strange feeling parts to the procedure and I found it incredibly difficult to relax. I took the valium for the second leg and it helped some.

Well, he made my leg numb...so all I felt was pressure.

I did discover that the few mins I walked to and from the bathroom at night after I was allowed to not wear the compression stockings AT night, they would ache. And it's still swollen.

But as long as it gets rid of the bulging ropes, I'll be a happy camper.

mine was numbed too,but they also did some 'stabs' and pulled out and cut off dead veins besides the honking big ones that they zapped. it was the feeling ,not pain, just the feeling of pulling and snipping that made me kinda antzy.

I noticed the same without the stockings and mine wer swollen a good while aftr too. but yeah, basically,I am very pleased with the procedure

I can't weigh in for three months unless I find a gym here in Nicaragua, or go into a rice distributor but I brought my skinny jeans to try on once a week just to make sure things feel good and snug. I thought this was the best way to measure myself.

NanaLiz, that works...as long as you fit in your skinny jeans at the end, you can't have gained too much. And probably will lose.
