I was hoping it would drop back down once I came off the medicine.  I bet yours will do when your leg has healed.  Hope it is doing good.

Linda, I do it for all of us...keeps me accountable as well.

They told me things like advil, tylonel, etc for the pain but since I alreay take tramadol, I tend to avoid adding anything else. However, I also started a new med to help with the insomnia and that may be the culprit...need to look it up again to check.

But you are holding steady....that's good.

Last week 103
This week 102.2
Total change - .08

My eating has been all over the place due to my surgery.  I continue to avoid sugar and gluten but I have been so sick and bloated that it is an effort to eat anything.  Even water seems to make me bloat.  I have just been eating anything I can.  To tell you the truth I couldn't even tell you what I have been eating.  I know I've been having a lot of sugar free protein pudding and yogurt with probiotics.  I have also been drinking herbal tea with probiotics.  I've been hoping the probiotics would help the bloating I guess.  I haven't even been counting fluids and protein, just getting in what I can and I am sure it hasn't been enough.  Same with vitamins.  Just the thought of swallowing pills makes me feel uncomfortable.  Hopefully this week will be more normal for me.
I don't even know if this is an accurate weight becaus I am so swollen and bloated.

Tazz, as far as the bloating...check for artificial sugars in everything you eat, they may be the wrong kind for you...some have some lousy effects.

As for vitamins, I had the worst time at first...I think I was almost 3 months out before I was approaching the amount I should take.

Razz, I have never had post op bloating.  The product that I use is homeopathic.

Carbo Vegetabils.  You can put some of the little balls in the water that you sip.  I put 4-5 tiny balls under my tongue several times a day.

Health food stores, Whole Foods, Amazon all carry it.  It's a favorite product for me.
