Tonya, it can happen...water/fluid weight.

You will get back down very quickly...just glad you are home.

Last week: 108 lbs

This week: 110.7 lbs.

All week I was in the 109's and up a pound today. Hmmm................. Less exercise last week and eating some shrimp yesterday. I hope this is water weight.  I did go to Spin class yesterday. See how this week goes. Need to dial down some of my calories and go back to my usual exercise routine. I've been nursing some tendinitis in my shoulder.

Regarding the tendinitis...try this (told to me by a PT), while in the shower, take a wahclothe and walk it up and down the wall, minimum 10 times each side. Don't pu**** but go as high as you can and try to aim so the shower i****ting the side you are using.

Something about the warm water and minor resistance provided by the washcloth makes the stretches better than just reaching over our heads. It's a slower motion as well.

It could be water weight...just keep getting everything you need and your body will find it's place.

Thanks, Liz. I'll give it a try. It is getting better, but it is slow going.

Panda, we get spoiled the first couple of months but in all honesty, losing weight slowly is better for our sysytem...so as long as you are still losing, that will add up.

Thanks, Liz. Sadly I never really hit my own personal goal of 135. I hit my surgeons goal (150) minus 5 more, but this past year bounced up 10 from his goal and 15 from my low to 160.

I was really hoping taking it back off was going to be easier than it has been, but I can live with it being slow as long as it's moving. 6 pounds in 6 weeks beats the heck out of no pounds lost in 6 weeks!

I'm still sporting 100 pound loss and have low cholesterol and blood pressure. I am truly blessed and have nothing to complain about. It's just a little bit discouraging sometimes when I see people who get below goal so easily and seem to have no trouble maintaing it, when I never really did.

But that's okay. No pity party for me. I'm not a victim, I am finally for the first time in my life a survivor, and the weight is going DOWN, not up, so that's all that matters!

I always appreciate your encouragement.

up and down seems to be the story of my life recently..wish I could just hold it steady..last week I was like 125.8 this week back down closer to "normal" at 118.2..according to the scale went from 58% hydrated to 56%..so some water weight was lost from the normal montly flucutations..

Last week (and weeks and weeks before that weight!!!!) 153.2
Today 149.2

I am shocked the the scale finally moved. I am thrilled though....I am inching my way to a normal BMI. It is exciting and I can tell the difference in my clothes.
