Pulled pork recipes anyone?
I guess when I think about pulled pork, I do not think about putting a rub on it, since I am going to put sauce on it.
But my easiest tried and true recipe for barbecue sauce is 1 bottle zesty italian dressing, 1 bottle smokey barbecue sauce (whatever's cheap) - that is the base. That alone is good, but I tend to add brown sugar, butter, and beer and GARRRLIIICCC!! and then cook that down to the thickness I like.
Its flavorful and spicy as in flavorful, but not spicy as in hot. Course, you could use whatever sweetner you liked and dump the beer and/or the butter/garlic if you like.
Did she just put a rub on it?
