Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!!   We are staying in tonight (love Gina's post today) and I'm cooking one of DH's favorite meals.

Did anyone read the article yesterday on the AOL home page about wheat in foods.  It was about how companies like Kellogg's are putting the word wheat and whole grain (like in their wheat waffles) on the packaging but they are mostly made up of white flour and water.  I was shocked to read about products like wheat/cheese crackers and wheat saltines are colored brown so they appear healthy to the eye.   Be cautious of this kind of deceitful packaging.  It's best to avoid these kinds of carbs altogether.

Met DD at the hospital yesterday because she hadn't felt the baby move for hours.  After her and her sister both lost 2 babies each this past year the Drs. are being very cautious.  Babies heartbeat was strong so she was in a much better mental state when they discharged her.  Friday can't come soon enough!

Hi Roz,
I know you will all be glad when Friday gets here!!

I did not even get on line yesterday.  I am so far behind at work.  DD called and her and SIL were both at home sick.  I had to take off and drink to pick up DGD#2, get her things and she spent the night with us.  This morning, I had to get up really early to get ready for work and then take her to day care(about 45 minutes from my house) and then come to work.  DH and I were both in bed before 9:30 last night!!  SIL went to the doctor yesterday and it is viral so pretty much just has to run its course.  DD has sinus infection/cold.  She tried to go to work this morning but was back home within an hour.  She said they could pick up DGD#2 this afternoon though....

Here's the plan today.

B:  Protein Decaf Coffee
S:  Decaf Coffee
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
      Mixed Nuts
L:  Spare Rib, Roasted Vegetables
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
D:  Turkey Pepperoni, Cheese
S:  Decaf Coffee

Vitamins:  Morning Done
Water/Fluids:  60 ozs so far
Miles:  None

The Lemon Squares from Sunday were made with the Atkins Baking Mix and they were ok.  I did not add the coconut to them so they were really thin with the filling and needed a little more lemon in them, but they were ok.

I hope your kids get over it and the little one doesn't get it.

The virus's and sinus infections are all through our schools and our family.  Our 1 yr. old DGD has it now and it's in her chest.  She has been to the Dr. twice in the last few days.  I was lucky because it seems to have skipped me.  I tease them because they all worry about me not eating much but I feel like I'm the only healthy one...LOL

Good Menu!   You are doing really good watching your Carbs!

LOL - I just read this - after eating a handful of potato chips I found in the break room.....

Almost everyone around here is sick with either a stomach bug or sinus problems.  I hope they all get well by this weekend.  DGD#1's birthday party is Sunday afternoon.  I sure hope none of them are sick!!

Happy Valentines Day.

What day is her birthday?  It's #3 isn't it?  Does she have a theme for her party?

DGD#1's is 2/18 (Party is 2/19) at Chuck E Cheese's.  I guess that is the theme.

DGD#2's is 2/25 - hers is going to be a Circus theme at her house.  I'm doing her cake.. hope it turns out ok. It looks pretty simple so I agreed to do it.

They will both be 3.  I can tell such a big difference in them in the last few months.  They are getting so grown up acting!!
