Aversion to water- please help
I hope this doesn't last much longer!
Kay
So sorry you are going through this! Warm liquids settle better for me also when my tummy is upset.
Be careful with the Pear Juice. My DGD who had rectum surgery has to drink that in her milk every day to keep her bowels moving and it really works! If it wasn't for the sugar I'd be drinking it every day to keep me from being constapated.

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

Gina always says to add a squirt of lemon to the water and it may sit better.
I also lived on warm herb teas. There are some that are suppose to settle a tummy but I can't remember which. I love the peach and honey vanilla camomelle. Both are caffeine free.
I bought the low soduim V8 and threw it way. TO ME, that was gross and I like V8.
I also like Sobe 0 and get that as a treat. I hate paying over $1 for anything. If you can handle those, there is a pear flavor, walmart and dollar general have them for $1 instead of $1+.
Hope you have a productive appt and find out what is going on.

Tonya, I am so sorry you are still having these problems. I sure hope he can figure it out and get you fixed up.
I agree with the warm feels better than cold. I had to drink water at room temperature. I never drink plain water. I love Crystal lite in mine. Have you tried all of their flavors? Some I like and some I hate.
Let us know what the doctor tells you. Good luck.

you might try pure spring water. You can get it at the same place you get Dasani. You might also try the MIO dropps. You can add as many or as few squirts as needed to suit what you can tolerate.
Many WLS'er can't ever tolerate plain water anymore. You may have rolled around to that.It is something about the osmolity of the water in our tiny pouches/sleeves doesn't jive.
Ginger tea and peppermint tea are both know to relieve nausea. Maybe one or both or those would help, but not together.
good luck,it is terrible to be nauseated all the time.
I still do better with room temp or warm liquids and its been over 18 months.
Wylers bullion cubes were a good standby, also decaf constant comment tea with a sprinkle of stevia helped me too.
Keep experimenting. Feel better soon.
