So your plan didn't work?  If I had a plan like that I wouldn't have been able to wait until dinner...LOL

That's great you have a Dr. with a sense of humor.  I'm the one who takes my Mom to our family Dr. and I get a lot of caring looks from him during the visit.  I try so hard to be patient with her.

Good Menu!

Hope you all had a good weekend...I get all sorts of busy, and forget to post here.  I have been good.  Tomorrow is 2 months since surgery, and things are well.  My hunger had been crazy, but it happened last month around this time as I am expecting my period anyday now.   I keep drinking my water to help my cravings, and that seems to work.

Everyone seems to get hungry and gain a few pounds before their TOM.  Fortunately for me I had a hysterectomy almost 30 years ago and I don't have that problem (or maybe I do and just don't know it). Most of the time when I feel hungry, I am actually thirsty.

Good menu!!

I've never heard of that kind of protein?

Do you cook real oatmeal?  I use the instant.  The last box I bought didn't have any flavoring in it so I emailed the company and they sent me two $4.50 coupons. The boxes only cost $2.99 each but the store took the whole $9.00 off of my total.

You should get the Unjury chicken broth to help your Protein total.

Good menu!

that protein shake is a recipe from Nic on the rny board  WWW.bariatricfoodie.com. it uses choc protein powder, toriani sf caramal and salt among other things. soooo good....

I do cook real, rolled old fashioned oats. Never liked the instnt ones not from the time they first came out,too mushy for me. I ned the whole fiber from the rolled ones, you don't get as good a fiber from the instant cause they are already broken down  and you lose some in breaking down,I guess.

going to the dr for antibiotice tomorrow so hopefully I will feel more like eating and then I can get my protein back up. by the time the Unjury gets here I hope to be eating more.

I could, however, put unflavored protein in the homemade chicken stock I have been drinking. Good thought ,Roz! Thanks.
