Well, I certainly understand your trepidation about surgery. As someone who had complications with the VSG, the thought of surgery is very anxiety producing.

I hope your hubby can be with you.

Several years ago, I had to have an ovarian cyst removed. It was my first surgery and I was very scared. I walked so much, that I lost 15 lbs in the 6 weeks preceding the surgery. Everything went okay.

Congratulations on almost being at your goal!! That is so wonderful!!

Glad you're losing...

Now, as to the gallbladder...while it is still surgery and surgery can have complications, the chances are extrememly slim that there will be any with the gallbladder surgery.

I was up and about literally the next day after mine...even went grocery shopping altho dh toted everything.

Last week: 109.6 lbs

This week: 108 lbs

I seem to range from about 108-110, so anything within that range is okay with me. My lifesaving tools are food logging, exercise, this board, and face to face support.

Loss:  2 lbs.

Yesterday to celebrate my birthday (instead of cake) my daughter took me on a 4 1/2 mile hike that took us 2 1/2 hours of "hard" up hill hiking at Laguna Beach Wilderness Park.  It was a big accomplishment for me.  I haven't hiked that hard since I was in my late 20's...and by the way, those days are gone :)

Panda, you didn't gain...even if you don't lose EVERY week, you won the battle this week.
