You need to baby your back.  It seems like once back pain sets in it is really hard to get rid of.  You should notice a difference in your hunger after the the predisone is out of your system. 

How were the Lemon Squares?  I am so terrified of carbs.

I was craving something sweet on Saturday big time.  I told DH all I wanted was 1 bite of cake.  We stayed home all day on Saturday because of the weather and thank goodness I didn't have any sweets in the house.

Vits got some not othere pretty hard to swallow with very sore throat

Oatmeal always makes me go.  Another thing that works for me is Popcorn.

makes me go too and go nicely. that is why rectal surgeon wants me to eat it every day trying to heal my anal fissure. the carbs in it are killing me though. would it affect you adversly if you had to eat it every day,do you think?

I also think it makes me crave a little more than on days I haven't eaten it.

I love the High Fiber Maple and Brown Sugar flavor. It usually feills me up and the sweetness seems to take away my cravings. If I don't go for a couple of days then I think it's better to eat it than to suffer. It's about the only comfort food that I indulge in.

I don't think of it as a "bad" carb. Carbs that very seldom have are potatoes, rice, and pasta.

I don't think of it as "bad" either but a cup a day is a lot of carbs,about my whole allotment,but thankfully,after 2 months of being carb cleansed,I am not craving  carbs much anymore either,so if I have to spend all my carbs on otmeal to keep my booty from feeling like somebody is working in there with a knife,i guess it  is a small price to pay.

It felt so good to be in my own bed last night even if I ended up in the recliner

Ive had coffee, water, oatmeal, grits with egg and a fudge pop. Haven't been hungry and I over did it by going to the store even though one of the kids came with me to help. I wish I could take another week off from work, i have the hours but with soldiers returning next month there is a lot that i need to get done. at least it is all paper work.

i forgot how tired one can get after surgery, and that my insides really do hurt.

i will be taking pain meds tonight :)

I'm glad you are home!  Just being in your home is far more relaxing than being in the hospital. 

I wanted to ask before about how your job is going and it sounds like you are very dedicated to it.  Troops coming home...Awesome! 

Don't push yourself too hard.  You might actually get more work done if take off a couple of days to work through the pain and get some rest.
