Thank you Roz.  You are always such a big help.  I hope that when I bounce back I will be happy that I got so low.  If I have a 20 lb bounce back I will be just right.

{{{{HUGS}}}} to you Tazz.

You are very important to us here and we are all your friends - so you have plenty of us!!!  Don't ever forget that.

Depression is in my family and it is very scary.  My mom has had it for years and even had to have the shock treatments they used to do in the 50's and 60's.  She was in and out of hospitals for our childhood.  Others in my family suffer with it now some.  I have it ocassionally, but don't have to take medication for it.  Hopefully they can get you on the right combination of medications to help you.

I agree that exercise is really good for it.  I think that helps me tremendously.  I can really tell when I stop exercising and I feel horrible.

Come whine with us anytime you need to.

Thanks, Linda.  Depression sucks.  I'm sorry you had to go through that with your mother.  At least now they have medication these days and they don't have to use shock treatments too much any more.

Tazz, I'm sending big hugs your way.  You matter to all of us here so keep posting whatever you need to say.

make a project of finding a new therapist.  She is supposed to care about you.  I have a lot of therapist friends and know that they care deply about how their clients are doing.  You deserve someone's undivided attention.  She can't help you if she doesnt care enough to listen.  Her behavior is completely unprofessional.  You really shouldn't know anything about her personal life.

What is the medical food that you're on?

Take care and keep posting!

It is called Deplin.  It's a folate.  It doesn't seem to be doing anything yet but I will stick with it for a while.  Damn expensive, though.

Tazz, I always love reading your posts - hang in there, I'm glad someone thought of the smoking angle. I hope you get to feeling better, I totally understand the depression and isolation issues from personal experience and struggle with it a lot. You make me want to get a bike!!!
