A Year to Remember!!!

I usually post changes from week to week in the Sunday Weigh In thread.  However, in honor of my 1 year surgiversary, I am going to be something a little bit different.

Last year, on December 16, 2010, I weighed 255.9 lbs.    This year, on December 16, 2011, I weighed 156.2 lbs.

Net change:  -99.7 lbs

Last year, on December 16, 2010, my BMI was calculated to be 37.5.  This year, on December 16, 2011, my BMI was calculated to be 22.9.

Last year, on December 16, 2010, I wore a size XXL shirt.  This year, on December, 16, 2011, I wear a size M shirt.

Last year, on December 16, 2010, I wore a size 12 1/2 shoe.  This year, on December 16, 2011, I wear a size 11 1/2 shoe.

Last year, on December 16, 2010, I wore a size 44 waist pant.  This year, on December 16, 2011, I wear a size 30 waist pant.

Last year, on December 16, 2010, I had lost zero inches.  This year, on December 16, 2011, I have lost a total of 58 inches.

Can't wait to see your pictures!  I want to show them to my husband along with your post, as he just hit his all time high weight yesterday 300 lbs.  He says he'd never have surgery but maybe your story will inspire him.  Congratulations on your success!

 Here is an old picture.  The picture on the left is from last summer (I weighed about 280 then.)  The picture next to it is 1 month after surgery, then 3 months after surgery, then 6 months post surgery.  I weighed about 170 lbs then.

I have only lost another 15 lbs since my 6 month mark.

Will this do in the interim until we get a new comparison pic uploaded?

Congratulations on a job well done!!!! What a wonderful transformation. You must feel like new person. WLS is such a wonderful gift of a new opportunity for a healthier life. You should feel very proud of yourself.

 Here is a new comparison picture.  The picture on the left is at my highest weight (about 280ish) and was taken last summer.  The picture on the right was taken this afternoon.
