Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!!

Happy Thursday!  This is my Friday....YEAH!!  DD needs help with her shopping so I'm taking tomorrow off.  She wants to be done before the D&C on Monday.   DH has the flu....I'm Praying I don't get it!!!!!

Weather is so warm here today but pretty windy but it felt so good this morning!

OK...I've had 4 Arby's Jr. Chicken Sandwiches this week.  I normally try to avoid fast food other than Wendy's chili. Being busy and grabbing fast food is what helped put all that extra weight on so I've got to eat better over the weekend

Uh oh - glad you realized it now!  Do you eat the bun too or just the chicken?
I've been drinking diet coke again lately - but I guess it could be worse.  Its just a once in awhile thing - mostly when I'm out in the car and thirsty.  I don't have problems with the fizzies anymore feeling like my pouch is going to blow up.

Not sure what I'm eating today...

It takes me awhile but I eat the whole thing!!!  If I could eat Chili and drive that would be my choose of fast food. 

I've only had a couple of tiny sips of diet Pepsi and I really don't like the feeling it gives me.  I was never hooked on the taste but I loved a gulp of the fizzies before bed.  I don't think I'll be starting that habit again.

I hope the rest of your day finishes as strong as it started!

I fixed the Butternut squash/apple/pineapple dish to take to a Christmas party tonight and went home at lunch to taste it and turn the crock pot off.  

DELICIOUS!!!  It was one of the best things I've had in a long time.  Thanks so much for sharing the recipe.  I did use Splenda brown sugar instead of real brown sugar.

Hi Roz,
Today is my Friday too.  I'm going shopping with my DD tomorrow.  I'm off Monday and Friday next week.  Hope your DH feels better.  I finally got my flu shot last week at my doctors appt.

I was a fast food junkie 3 meals a day atleast 5-6 days a week so I try to very rarely eat out and I have not really missed it that much.  Last week I ate out more than I have in a long time so I really cut back this week.  I have not touched a Diet Coke since about 2 months prior to surgery.  It is like other red flag foods - I'm not going to touch it because I'm so afraid I could tolerate it and go back like I was before.

L:  Vegetable Beef Soup(Minus Broth), Couple of bites of the Butternut Squash/Apple/Pineapple Casserole)

One of the girls at work took orders for McDonalds and I was sooooo tempted but I stuck with my Veg. Soup.  If it wasn't for posting on M&M I probably would have ordered a cheeseburger! 

DH had a flu shot but this is probably a different strain of flu.  Everyone in DD#1 and #2 have had it the last couple of weeks and now it's moving to our house.  I rarely get the flu and I'm hoping I don't get before Christmas because I have to much to do.

Good Menu!   Have fun at your Christmas Party!  DH's party is tomorrow night but we won't be going.  If he is up to it I think we will tag along with the DD's vamily and go to Christmas Land.

Roz - what I get at McDonalds is the grilled chicken snack wrap with honey mustard.  Its just the right size (sometimes a little big) and not all that bad for you.

I've gotten that occassionally but I don't get the sauce.  When I'm out I am really careful to not eat anything that might have sugar in it because I'm scared of getting sick.  That's probably why I've had so many chicken sandwiches because I know I won't get sick on it.
