2. Haven't planned a thing, hoping some of you will have good suggestions.
3. Just being with family. Fish chowder was alway Christmas eve dinner, eggs goldenrod for Christmas breakfast.

1 Havent even started yet! Yikes, really clueless this year. I always have my list ready and in one or two trips get my shopping done.
2 No new recipes here. No one likes change around here especially at the holidays.
3 Favorite memory is being at my grandma's, she was an amazing woman. Just having the family together eating, drinking wine and laughing.
Glad I am off for christmas this year and only work day shift 7 to 3 instead of 730pm on christmas eve.

1. Almost done...just few things for the kiddies...stocking stuffers too!!
2. Yes some new dishes this year...low cal...high protein in mind!!
3. Just being with family and good friends ... those memories are the dearest to my heart!!
Hoping you and yours enjoy a warm and wonderful Christmas Season!!!
1. I'm almost done with my shopping. The same people every year seem to be my hardest to buy for and last on my list to finish up.
2. I haven't tried anything new and probably won't. We pretty much have the same things every year...tradition I guess.
3. I've always hated decorating the tree. My Dad wasn't very patient with us growing up and we never could make it look the way he wanted it to and all of those feelings have carried over to adulthood.
So...When our girls were young I would go shopping and DH and the girls would decorate the tree and video tape it for me to watch when I got home. They would sing the 12 days of Christmas to the Muppets as loud as they could and DH always did the 4 golden rings part. They were hysterical and have wonderful Memories doing this with their Dad.
Now They all come out to our house with their families and they sing and dance and make wonderful family memories and I sit back and enjoy them all.

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

1. Are you done with your Christmas Shopping? No - just a few more things to pick up, but Tom has to get ALL his stocking stuffers for the kids yet
2. Are you trying any new dishes for the holidays? No...
3. What are your favorite holiday memories? Like Roz, my Mom was very paricular about how the tee was decorated and it wasn't really fun because we couldn't do it right. I would say my favorite memories was my Mom's entire family getting together and going out to eat at Frankenmuth (famous for their chicken). The family was so big we had to reserve a room for us all to fit in.

2. No... well, unless they involve protein shakes or a blender. I will be 10 days post-op on Christmas Day.
3. I love going to NYC and walking around Rockefeller Center and Times Square. It's much more fun now that we have young kids *****ally get into it.
1. Not quite half way finished shopping. I take it in stages based on who we are celebrating with. This is Xmas 1 tomorrow so I've got a lot to do tonight.
2. I made white choc drizzled mini pretzels last night w crushed candy canes on them. Very fun! And quick.
3. My favorite tradition was the Xmas tree festival at our county museum. It was beautiful! A girlfriend posted a FB picture of her little girl there this week. Made me smile!
Why did our parents argue over the trees???? LOL. My mom would cry!!!! as long as DH helps bring stuff up from the basement he can leave the room and clear the way!!! My DD and I decorated the tree and it's beautiful!
Fun post!!!

I have a 4' fake tree, pre-lit that goes on a small table. I use only my favorite ornaments, mostly homemade and mostly little animals and the rest that I once needed for a big tree have gone away. I do let folks help and try not to be too picky about where they put what, but I like to do it by myself so I can put all my very most favorite things where I can see them sitting in my chair. No icecylces at my house.

2. I'd like to try new dishes for the holidays - let's hope my pouch agrees
3. Favorite holiday memory is our tradition on Christmas Eve. It's a busy day, so dessert is a Ben & Jerry's ice cream. Everyone get's their own pint, with a spoon, no plate or bowl..... There are two types of people - those who eat their pint at one time (teenage and college boys, typically), and those who eat a bite, then have it last beyond New Years. We discussed parting with this tradition when some formal guests spent Christmas with us one year, but kept with the pint.s.. This year, I'll have my pint, but only a spoonful.
I have missed this post every Friday. Thanks for bringing it back. Hope you are feeling better.
1. I am almost finished. A lot further along than normal. I only lack part of my DD's, a little for DGD#2 and I still need to get all of my SIL's. I need to get DH something but I usually go in with the kids to do that for him.
2. No new dishes for us - we usually go to DH's brothers and we always have the same traditional food.
3. My favorite younger holiday memories were Christmas Eve - my grandparents would come over and spend the night with us. Daddy would make us all go to bed and of course we couldn't go to sleep so about 1 or 2 in the morning they would let us get up and see what Santa brought and play with it for about an hour and then everyone went back to bed. In the morning we always had a large Christmas breakfast, Ham, Eggs, Red Eyed gravy and homemade biscuits - YUM YUM. My grandmother made the best biscuits ever... I sure hope my children have great holiday members from their youth!
