does it grow back?

3 1/2 months out and been loosing LOTs of hair for about a month now. I had beatiful thick hair all my life..... now I can see my scalp....... please tell me it grows back at some point?

I had surgery about the same time you did.  I've been eating protein and taking biotin, but my hair is falling out too.  I can't see my scalp yet, but it could be a matter of time...

I recall that others on the board said their hair fell out at about 3 months, and that most of it grew back.  That's a good thing, as I have fine hair, so not somuch to lose.

Thanks for the info.... you are doing great with your weight loss....I am much slower.

I'm about 8 months out and my hair loss has significantly slowed down.  My surgeon reassures me that all should be back to normal in another 4-6 months. 

Great news.... wonder if I'll have any left by 12 months???
Would be nice if it came back in curly.

 My surgeon said the hair stops falling out when the rapid weight loss phase ends.  Wear it as a badge of accomplishment.  I've never seen anyone at support group who's hair didn't grow back nicely.

PLASTICS!!!! Exciting! What are you having done?

I'm getting the works Stacey.  Body work on Friday with a Facelift a week from today.  I'll write a post about it.  I'm getting excited and less scared now that I know it's out of my hands.

I personally had a double whammy, I got hit with the hair loss at 4 mo then again after my GB episode at 8 mo... 15 mo out now and yes it does grow back! I have new growth and it is starting to fill in really nice. GIve it time it will come back.
