Well 2 weeks ago i was around 146 and struggling to hit my goal of 140 I was hungry all the time...since the unexpected surgery a week ago I hit goal of 140 and this morning weighed in at 136.  I am not very hungry at all have been doing 3 shakes a day and dinner with my family but not too much, just don't want food...  The PA mentioned that the acid in your stomache can make you "feel" hungry even when you are not and now I am on meds  to keep the acid down plus the surgery etc.  I am not sure if all this will stick but I am lovin it right now.  Not the pain from the surgery but definately the weightloss.  looking forwrd to seeing the surgeon on Wed.

Make sure that you are getting protein and sufficient calories, otherwise, the weight loss is lean muscle mass, which will ultimately slow your metabolism down.

Just keep your protein and fluids up.

Good going.

Last week, right after surgery   115  could include some swelling
this week,                                      112 still some swelling but not as much
                                                        -3 lbs

I'm not trying to lose and am eating, actually a lot more carbs than normal.  I certainly am not active except for my PT exercises.  Only thought is that chronic pain burns calories.

The healing process uses up more calories, which is why some people lose weight after plastics.

Price, I WISH chronic pain burned calories...I've had chronic pain for 10 years now...which is why I take so many pain meds every day.

Weighed in this week exactly the same at 121.6..realized my TOM never came..2 weeks late, not pregnant though..so that leads me to believe its a fluke or im vitamin deficient..going to see what happens and might call to get my vitamin levels checked...

Depending on your age, it could also be peri-menopause.

Glad you stayed the same.

Hi Liz,
Had a really busy weekend with my family Christmas - lots of snacks & food.  I actually did pretty good.

Gained 1 lb - still within my range so I'm ok.  I need to up my exercise.
