I've been losing 2 1/2 lbs for the past 3 weeks.  I know I should be happy but I'm kind of disappointed it's not 3 1/2 lbs a week anymore .  Is 2 1/2 lbs. weekly weight loss reasonable for being almost 11 weeks post op?

Last week:   170
This week:   167.5

You did fantastic!

Look at it this way, Elizabeth...before your surgery, you would have been over the moon to lose 2 1/2 lbs a week...that averages 10 lbs a month.

Unfortunately, it does slow down and even stall...mine has been at 136-134 since the first part of September. Hopefully I will get back to losing cause I have about 10 more I want to get rid of!

This has been a tough week being sick.  I didnt have an appetite for anything, and getting my fluids in was really hard.  But I am finally feeling better, and getting back on track today.  I cant believe I made it past the 170s.  Im still in the shock and awe of being this small, but it is feeling great.

Last week 172
This week 166.4

Last week:  109.3 lbs

This week: 108.9 lbs.

Staying within my range. I was 110 lbs most of the week, but fluid shifts change the weight most days.

I'm glad that I am staying in this range. Sometimes I think about trying to go  bit lower, but I do have more muscle than ever, so I am mostly content staying here.

15 months out and maintaining within a two lb range since mid-April. Amazing.

Gail, I know what you mean about the "awe" of maintaining. That is the single one thing I was never able to master.

I think I forgot to weigh in last Sunday, but do weigh myself regularly. I am usually between 123-124#

This morning I weighed 123.4#.  YAY!!!!  (And that was before a big "healthy" visit to the toilet  !)

I am over the moon having this surgery. What a tool I was blessed with! Never do I feel like I am "dieting".

 142 this morning
  I don't remember last sunday...
  probably 141 or 140
So if I eat carbs at ALL...it goes up one or two...
142 being the highest I allow
but if I eat no carbs for a day or two it goes back down
  to 140
140 is hard to maintain as it's a no carb weight.
142 seems to be comfortable but I do not want to go higher.
I'll play around with this for the holidays and see.

Seaview, trying to stay in a weight range can truly be a balancing act. Good luck.
