Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!!

Sorry about yesterday everyone!!  We left early for the competition and then straight to shopping.  I pulled in at 11:00 last night exhausted.

Hi Roz,
I have to admit I've slacked off on posting M&M's because I've been depressed about not being able to eat much of anything but the same old stuff (yogurt & cottage cheese).  My appointment to have an endoscopy is not until January 12 which is also disappointing to have to wait so long. 
Had another  episode after trying to eat 2 tiny bites of a soft corn tortilla (size of a fifty cent piece) with some chicken.  I did get on the waiting list so hopefully Kaiser will call me sooner for the endoscopy.  Just wanted  to let you know why I haven't been posting.

Basically just drinking my protein:   Body Fortress, choc 26 gr X 3
                                          Snacks: Greek Yogurt, hot tea (caffeine free), sf hot choc

Sorry you are having problems.  Hopefully they can get you in sooner.  I went through some depression the first 3 months but not because I was having troubles eating but just because of all of the changes.   I pretty much lived on soups and slide foods for quite awhile.  I still have trouble with chicken and I pretty much never include tortilla's in my menu because of the carb.

I wonder if I could get scrambled eggs down if I put cheese on them.  I don't digest them for hours.

I have to mix cream cheese or the pre-shredded blended cheeses in mine. It also seems to help to brown some sausage and add the scrambled eggs to that, and not over cook.

Hi Roz,
We had my family Christmas this weekend and had a great time.  It was good to have everyone at our house.  I'm off Tuesday and going shopping with my DIL.  I think I'm off as much in December as I am working.

B:  Protein Decaf coffee
S:  Decaf Coffee
S:  1/2 Pimento Cheese Sandwich
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
L:  Salad w/ steak - Lite Rasp. vineg dressing, sugar free jello w/ lite cool whip
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
D:  Probably more steak & salad
S:  ??

Vitamins:  Way behind - just took my first dose of calcium chews
Water/Fluids:  55 ozs.
Miles:  May go to Zumba not sure yet - or take a nap.

I was thinking about your early Christmas and I was wondering if my extended family would go for that.  It's just so much running around on Christmas day and the kids don't even get time to enjoy their toys and gadgets.  It would be better for my niece too because she was just mentioning how she loves to come to PA but her little ones never get to have Christmas at home.  I might get her to suggest it if she thinks it's a good idea that way I won't get in trouble...LOL.  The only thing is her DH might decide to take them to his families for Christmas and my sister would be furious.

I only have a day off the week of Christmas and then the day after.  I have to save my days for when the babies come and cheer comps.
