Just was notified insurance approved surgery on Dec.6th. Have been reading everyones post and would not post till I got approval. A little about me: I'm a R.N. ,62 wife and grandmother raising a granddaughter. I started this journey in August, starting weight 213 lbs, today 180lbs. BMI 37.4, goal weight 120lbs.Right now I'm both excited and very nervous. Saturday start the 3 day clear liquids.

Welcome and good luck on your upcoming surgery. You should be in fine shape by Christmas, maybe on pureed and that opens lots of food doors.
