Hi Everyone!

I have been MIA for a very long time! I plan to get back on the boards more...I need the accountability and motivation!

The year has flown by....I am doing grea!! Down to 143 lbs and wearing a size 8 jeans and med tops. It feels so good to be able to throw on anything in my closet and not stress over how I look. I do have the extra skin which isn't a big deal but I will be having a TT in the next couple of months.

I am keeping up with my vits and protein...have a check up Monday so hopefully my labs will be good. I still have great restricition (can only eat about 2 or 3 ounces  of dense protein at a time) and I do dump. I am VERY happy about that because otherwise I may be trying to push the limits. I enjoy trying new low carb recipes and I eat tastier foods than I have ever eaten in my life...just smaller quantities. I finally started to feel normal again a few months ago...eating is much easier now. My tummy is pretty accepting of most foods, just no sugar, fried foods or tough meats and I am good to go :)

I am exercising more...using resistance bands and doing squats have made a huge difference in skin department! My arms, thighs and backside look much better than just a couple of months ago!

This was the best thing I have ever done for myself, it really has been a miracle for me!

Hi to all the new members...I look forward to getting to know you!!

Char,
You have done a great job!!  Congratulations on your success. I have enjoyed watching your journey over the past year.

I really think staying in touch with this board or having some other type of support group helps us stay successful.

Good luck on your TT.  Plastics are not in my future, but I can live with that.  Feel so much better is worth it all!!
