Good Morning. Still in a carb coma?

Well, I indulged yesterday and this AM.  I was able to eat a little of everything and I did it. One day isn't going to do me in, but days of this, would certainly not be helpful. When I get home, it will be dense protein, fluids, and exercise, but it has been fun. I still didn't eat as much as I once could, but it was more than last year.

No shopping for me. I'm not brave enough for the stores today.

Not a crazy Target shopper, but a crazy shopper.  DH and I got up at 2am this morning to go to Belk's.  They were giving gift cards away up to 1000.  There were 3 things that I needed to get that were on sale.  I got a $10 card and he got a $5 card.  One of the items I bought for my mom was an electric skillet for $19.99 and it has a $10 mail in rebate so after crediting the $15 cards and the $10 mail in rebate - I made money and got a gift.  The other two things were for things I picked up for other people.

Then we went to Walmart and got DGD#2 a TV for $98.  Went home and slept about an hour and half and left home at 7am to go to shop some more with DD, DIL and my mom.  We just got home about 4:30pm.  Whew - I'm tired.  I actually bought some things today.

Fun day.  Not nearly as many people out today as there was last year.

It's not the Target Lady you have to worry about. It's the crazy lady with the pepper spray!

Jokes on her though. That X-box bundle she bought was a crappy deal.

I did get out to shop, but hit my first store at around 8:30.  Initially I set my alarm for 3 in the morning, but I just couldn't do it--too much wine and carbs.

No Carb Coma here!!!  I stick to the turkey & ham!  I know, salty ham!  But I pick all the bacon off the turkey after it comes out of the oven (about 10 pieces)!  Stayed away from the mashed taters, but did have a sweet tater (I think they are better for us than reg pots aren't they?).  One crescent roll (didn't even fini****).......but then over indulged in the Cranberry sauce!!  Ate about 1/3-1/2 of the can myself!  No one made Broccoli casserole, so I was very disappointed....I usually eat a Ton of that!  And I did well for dessert.  Small piece of my Pumpkin pie and a piece of Pumpkin roll (when I say piece, it was about 1/2 in by 1/4 in!!  LOL)!!

Went to Walmart.  Wasn't too bad and got a bunch of things!  Listed them under one of the other posts just a bit ago!  Best deal (in my opinion) was the 32" Emerson TV for $188 and the LG Blue Ray/DVD player for $49!  But all my stuff were awesome bargains I think!!  Love Black Friday shopping!!!!  Been doing it for about 12 yrs now, last year I didn't go (didn't see any deals) and ALL day I felt like I was missing something.  Felt empty!  Just didn't feel like me!!  Almost didn't go this year, but changed my mind!  Glad I did!
