Happy Thanksgiving!!  I am so grateful for all of my LW friends, each and everyday!

I'm going where I always go for Thanksgiving.  4 years ago I broke my ankle there so I always tread carefully on Thanksgiving.  :)

Dinner will be all organic and should be great food.  I'm in charge of the salad.  The salad will be pretty and sprinkled with pomegranate seeds for color with a nice organic balsamic dressing.  My plan is to eat turkey, salad, part of a plain baked sweet potato, the kale dish, and I understand someone is making a healthy sugar free (stevia?) pumpkin pie.

My plastic surgery is in two weeks and I don't want to see my scale go up so I'm going to eat carefully today and track everything in myfitnesspal.

Have a fun day everyone!!

We're going to my son's house.  He asked me to bring cranberry sauce and rolls so I need to head to the store for the rolls and while I am there I think I will pick up some things to make a sugar free, gluten free pecan pie with almond crust.  In addition to that I am bringing a sugar free, gluten free New York cheese cake, almond cookies make with some unflavored protein powder I snuck in and mashed cauliflower made with cream cheese, butter, cream and three kinds of cheddar.  I know my dil will be making a lot of food so I hope my additions are welcome.  I just felt like cooking.  I am also hoping them will be popular because I really don't want to bring all those leftovers home.  Well, maybe some turkey if it's offered.
My plan is pretty much the same as any time I go out to eat.  I am going to attack the turkey, have some of my mashed cauliflower, maybe a bite of mashed potatoes and gravy if it's gluten free, if not that's OK.
If there are any other vegetables there that don't have sugar or gluten in them I will have a bite or two.  Then if I have room I will have some of my cheesecake, pecan pie and maybe an almond cookie.  I am probably aiming way too high and will wind up calling uncle after the turkey but if so I may have save the dessert for snacks later on.

We had a good Thanksgiving. It was nice and mellow. Now I'm working on Black Friday plans with Mini-Mac.
