Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!!

Over the hump day and my last day to wor****il Monday....YEAH!!  DD just informed me we won't be going shopping after Thanksgiving dinner...I have no complaints!  Friday is soon enough to start the Christmas season. 2 oldest DGD's can't wait to give me their Christmas lists tomorrow.  I wonder how many pages they are going to be this year....LOL

Except for dinner my menu is just about the same as yesterday.  I'm such a boring person...looking forward to a change tomorrow!

Hi Roz!  Did you ever get that protien chocolate pudding from GNC?  I had some yesterday - yummy. I'm in a munchy mood... need to control it.  Maybe another protein pudding, it seems to hit the spot, 30g of protein and 190 calories for a big can.

B - 1 1/2 protein coffees
L - leftover mashed cauliflower and spagetti squash, a small piece of steak (about 3 bites)
S - protein pudding
D - IDK

Vits:  yes
Water:  doing ok.

Good afternoon! Going crazy here today. I have to work tomorrow 7-330p and trying to get the house in order and get some cooking done. Everyone is coming to my house tomorrow.

Hi Roz,
I'm off today and cooking for tomorrow.   I'm going to try and get most of mine done today.  I'm a taster as I cook so I'm trying to be careful and having extra protein drinks today to try and keep the tasting down some!!  I'm heading out at 3am Friday morning our Belk's has a few things that I need to get on sale and I'm afraid they will run out if I don't get there when they open!!  We will see if I make it at that time.  Friday, DD, DIL and maybe my parents and I are going shopping.  Should be an interesting day!

Not much of a plan today.  My parents are here and my sister, her husband and my niece are coming in afterwhile.

Can I ask you all something?  I'm so interested in everyone's posts, as I'm newer to all this.  I just had my surgery and I'm' still eating my 2oz of protein (early stage).  I had a sleeve done.  Does your stomach get a bit larger to be able to hold larger amounts in one sitting for meals or is it that during this healing time it only can take smaller amounts--so as not to do anything to the staples?  I'm looking at the meals that are posted and getting a bit more relieved/excited that I can drink full amount of shakes and eat larger meals than I'm doing now...I just can't see it right now as after two or three bites (or sips) I'm aching.  LOL!

Once the swelling your sleeve goes down and it starts to stretch a bit, you'll be eating more normally. Not a lot of volumn but a little bite or 2 of everything should be ok.

And don't think we all follow a strict breakfast, snack, lunch schedule, I nibble on those things you see on my Menu throughout the morning....not 3 meals a day with 3 small snacks, I graze.
