i am a food addict and a compulsive overeater so everything tempts me.
i can tolerate anything so what keeps me on track is knowing i will have to deal with the water weight that carbs will cause plus having to deal with weaning off sugary ones which is a pretty good detterant for me.

I made the low carb Splenda New York cheesecake for Thanksgiving today and made a mini cheesecake to be able to eat some to make sure it would be good enough to bring. It came out pretty good, especially for my first homemade cheesecake. I made the crust out of ground hazelnuts and it is the best part. It looks like a cheesecake and tastes like one. Could have been a bit sweeter but I can live with it so now I have one of the things ready that I am bringing. Tomorrow I will make creamy mashed cauliflower with cream cheese, cream and butter. I am going to put it together and then cover it with shredded triple cheddar cheese and bake it. I hope it comes out good. I don't really have a recipe for it so I will play it by ear.
