would this work?

So I'm thinking I will be in the hospital for 3-5 days with my knee surgery and my protein coffee.  Has anyone tried RTD protein, like the EAS light ones, as coffee creamer?  I can eat anything so I am not so worried about meals but still want to be able to get my protein in.  I had thought about taking some RTDs anyway but it would be nice if I could still have my protein coffee, even if I couldn't mix my protein very easily.

Yep, those would work. Take them with you and your vitamins. You might have to sneak your vitamins.

Definitely bring your shakes to mix with your coffee. You will also have to bring your supplements too. I doubt that your orthopedic would be willing to order all your supplements to take postop, unless your primary care doc is involved and would order them for you.
As I side note, as for charges, it may be alot more expensive for the hospital to provide your supplements to you.
Good luck and sounds like you are prepared!

I will take the calcuim and protein but they have taken me off everything else before surgery    Partly due to bleeding and mostly it seems because they put me on coumiden for 3 weeks after and evidently, it interacts with EVERYTHING.  Thank goodness it is only 3 weeks.  I love my greens and brocalli, etc and all of those are limited with it.  So no multis, Bs of any kind, A.  I can do my D3 and calcuim but that is it.
