You and me both! Today has been tough. I have definitely NOT gotten nearly enough fluids today. I just take small drinks. That to me is a sip. According to the nurses at the hospital I was at, there used to be a bariatric sippy cup made just for bariatric patients that measured out just the right amount that we should be drinking with each sip, but they stopped making them! Figures! lol
Congratuations. It keeps getting better and easier.
Well, I have never measured one but maybe a tablespoon? We were told to drink/sip an ounce every 15 min and set a timer to remind us. That would be 4 ounces an hour and if you were up for 16 hours, you would get in your 64oz. In the beginning, it all counts, popcysles, jello, fluids and you don't have to wait before and after "eating" since you are only having liquids.
It does get easier, I promise.

Sip, sip, sip!!! All day long!!! When you gulp you will definitely know NOT to do that again.... I was early out and took a gulp of ice cold water and thought I was dying.
Then there was the diet cherry limeade from Sonic --- who knew it was carbonated. Another not so smart experience there, too! I was shopping and was SO thirsty... =)

They have me practicing with a 1 oz medicine cup...pretty hard to get used to. You might want to try that.
