Lemon Tea

I am curious!

I notice a lot of you drink something you call protein lemon tea?  Can someone tell me more about it?   I love crystal light peach tea and brewed decaf iced tea, so tea combined with protein sounds like a dream.  Is it really sweet and does it have a different taste to it?  I normally dilute my crystal light tea with extra water because it tastes very sweet to me....

Thanks!

I think when most posters speak of "lemon tea" they are referring to Syntrax Nectar brand lemon tea protein powder.

I haven't had this one but have had several of their other flavors and all are good.

You can order it online from several places and buy it from The Vitamin Shoppe. GNC doesn't carry it though.

Good luck,Holly

The Syntrax Lemon Tea is my protein staple.  I have it every morning.  Like all protein drinks, some people love it and some people hate it.

They do have samples you can order. But it's an assortment and it's not clear to me if you can chose your flavors.

I think WWW.vitalady.com sells single servings of many kinds of shakes. also,If you get it at The vitamin Shoppe retail or online and you don't like it they will exchange/refund 100% of purchase price, even if you have opened it. Just keep your receipt

I love my Syntrax Lemon Tea but I don't think it tastes like tea.   You can also put crystal lite in it and make it any flavor that you want.  I was using the MIO flavorings but they made me crave sweets so I went back to my Plain Lemon Tea.   Vitalady.com sells 100's of samples for $1.99 each.   S103 who makes the syntrax brands sells a variety pack for $13.00 (?).  Twisted Cherry is really good and a lot of people enjoy the Fuzzy Navel.

Everything tasted really sweet to me too....also salty, spicy, and sour.  It took me about 6-8 months before flavors tamed down and sometimes I still have a problem with it.

I love lemon tea also.  I use at least a quart size container and a packet of crystal light with a scoop of protein and water.  I think it mixes best with a spoon instead of a blender bottle or blender.  It doesn't foam as much with a spoon.  I use Crystal light peach tea with it mostly.  I also drink it hot when I want something warm.

Definitely try a bunch of nectar flavor samples from vitalady! Twisted Cherry and Fuzzy Naval are my favorites. Vitamin Shoppe does not carry all flavors in store. May have more online.

Fuzzy Naval is my favorite today -- reminds me of OJ in the morning.

I love my Protein Lemon Tea.  Everyone likes it different ways, but here is how I fix mine.

16 or 20 oz bottle of water
1 stick of Crystal lite lemon tea
1 scoop of Syntrax Nectar Lemon Tea Protein

I put the Crystal lite in the water bottle and shake it up good.  Then pour it into my 20 oz. shaker bottle that has the scoop of protein.  Shake it real good - this does cause foam which does not bother me.  When the foam settles some I add some ice cubes or crushed ice and shake again.  This is not too strong.

I love it!!

You can order single serving samples from Vitalady.com
