Over half way to goal!!
Hi all.. haven't posted in a while. Life is crazy. My husband works the night shift (9p to 9a) so it's been like being a single mom.
Anyway, I had back surgery Oct. 4, and I'm healing well from it. I'm afraid it wasn't as successful as I'd hoped it would be. I'm still having nerve pain which was supposed to have eased. But the docs say it can take months to see real results. I'm still not cleared for exercise which is frustrating, still only supposed to walk around the house. But I've been walking a lot more than that. I can't handle just sitting around all day.
But the big news is my weight is finally coming off again! I seem to stall for a few weeks, then lose a big chunk. It's frustrating, but when that big number comes off, it sure feels nice.
I am over half way to my goal! I was so excited to see my balloon on the lower side of my ticker. This is the least I've weighed in over 11 years. Onederland is just around the corner!!! Only 12 more pounds! Which - with my rate of loss - will be just over a month, so maybe Christmas! Yay!

Congratulations! Keep on walking, it'll come off and your back will be better quicker as well.

That's terrific. It will keep going down, by spurts or creeps, as long as it comes off we are ok.
